What is FIRST WESLEYAN about?

We are a multigenerational church made up of broken people who have found HOPE for something real, something different in the name and person of Jesus Christ. Through our faith in Him, our broken lives are in the process of being restored and transformed into the beautiful creations God made us to be.  We strive to be like Jesus by growing in our faith walk with Him. And we want to share all about this HOPE we have found with others along the journey.
We exist to extend the HOPE of Jesus Christ that restores and transforms lives.

The Mission

The mission of First Wesleyan Church | Kannapolis, NC is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. 

The Vision

The vision of First Wesleyan Church | Kannapolis, NC is to extend the HOPE of Jesus Christ that restores and transforms lives. 
We believe there is ONE God, who is Father, Son,  and Holy Spirit, and the Savior
of all men and women who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life.
We believe those who receive new life in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct,
and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord's Spirit.
We believe the Bible and seek to establish our faith and actions on it's teachings
We believe God wills for people everywhere to know Him and that the purpose of the church is to tell the
world about Christ through it's worship, witness, and loving deeds
